Greetings Traveler

This is not your usual guild, tales about the Brotherhood can be found many realms some are the stuff of legends. Those that grew up in here know the values the Brotherhood stands for, and those that still walk its ranks are remarkable people.

We are:
» A community of nice folks, helping each other achieve more each in their own time and pacing.
» A guild to join and grow in, a place to complete all your WoW achievements, a place to raid in with good standards. Here you will learn and evolve both as person and ingame hero.
» A starting point towards greater glory, if that's what you seek.
» A place to return to, where you'll find old friends, and one of the most active community on this realm network.

The <Brotherhood of Steel> is one of the high quality guilds in the world, not by progression, but by dedication, resilience and spirit.

We consider this game is not a race to be the first, but a marathon to complete, thus our raiding progression can take very unusual paths. Know We always complete AoC and some seasons farm HC regularly, getting AoC for all our members that need it.

We pursue Cutting Edge only if its viable and everyone present shows interest. Otherwise we have friends in higher places that are eager to welcome anyone wacky enough to push Mythic progress to its limit.

While our aim is to steadily gear up and clear the content each expansion, Patch by Patch, we do it paced, smart, strategically and allow our team mates to choose their own level of progression, based on their own time and interest.

For most of us its the journey that counts, so we make it memorable. There are cool moments, and great rewards we unlock on the Way.

As long as you're honorable, kind, helpful and friendly, you should be fine, most of our crew hones the same values.

There are few lost each expac, whos expectations become to high to please, if their hearts darken, our group just moves forward, as it's not our job to solve such issues, its a challenge they need to resolve on their own, with themselves.

As long as you're honorable, kind, helpful and friendly, you should be fine, most of our crew hones the same values. And a path to CE always exists if you prove yourself worthy and patient.

Since our goal is to have fun, be nice and help new comers we tend to be less competitive. Though we have some great players, we are aware this is a game, not the olympics, you don't get rewarded for being top 100 in the world, that only feeds narcisim and thats a pretty bad trait to have.

The game itself is designed to help you complete it as time passes and gear becomes more available, with tenacity and good leadership anything is within reach. We build a proper raid core each tier and clear things on our pacing, sometimes with multiple teams at once.

The Guild has always welcomed new and old friends, it's gates have always been open, members are always free to join old friends in other guilds, and return when they please. Experiment and find what you like. And if you find your place among our active player core, then you're awesome.

Apply in game and introduce yourself or try to contact an online guildie, the should advice who you can reach out too for an invite. We mostly welcome mature gamers that want to work together towards completing all the Challenges and Achievements that come with this MMORPG.

That said. Take care, hope to see you on our next adventure if not best of luck out there!

  • Raiding details and history:

    As a Guild we found the sweet spot where we have a reliable commited community that raids and clears encounters, with few all the way up to cutting edge.

    We're not try hards, if it not realistic, as we don't have the right people, we just chill and regroup next tier.

    We're currently progressing in Mythic Sanctum @5th boss, with a small crew and X-realm allies. While some of our group migrated with Mayhem to take down Sylvannas.

    =================================================================
    Shadowlands raid teams 9.0.1
    =================================================================

    » Mandalorians: a team formed from veterans raiders and friends we made along the way, while exploring Mythic raiding. We are a dedicated, laid-back group that seeks to reach an optimal raiding form by finding the right people that are both a match as culture and commitment to our common goals.

    » Jedi Academy: Lead by our Mando core raiders, this group welcomes newcomers and alts to learn how to raid, to the point they end up farming Ahead of Curve each tier.

    Retired » Crit happens: a team formed from returning players and previous raiders that banded up slowly to clear Ahead of Curve and chill. Due to lack of dedication the group disbandended and most members retired early, some still hang out in the Jedi Academy.

    General requirements and common sense stuff:
    » During progress our raiding schedule is a bit demanding, as you must make it 10 mins early and get ready for the encounters. And it is important you understand this as it makes it a smooth pleasant experience for everyone.

    » We expect everyone to come to the raid prepared with knowing their class and spec to the best, knowing the basics of each boss fight in the raid, having their gear up-to date with enchants and gems and consumables!

    » The guild is providing food and flasks, armor kits and vantus runes as often as possible. You should bring your own potions!

    » World of Warcraft is a team game and communication during a raid encounter is often very important. You will be required to use Discord during raids and should be able to write/speak and understand English to a reasonable level.
    (If you're able to read this message, I'm sure you'll be fine)

    Note: Don't have illusions of grandeur, all catchup with their gear and skill, be friendly & reliable, toxic attitudes aren't welcomed.

    Level of dedication:
    » A positive attitude is required towards raiding especially when it comes to learning encounters as a team. Don't expect to be pampered, we'll give you the best advice but you have to work your own magic.
    » Punctuality is important as its shows respect to your team-mates.

    » During progress raids you need to be fully awake and focused - trying to understand and offer feedback in regards to the encounter via Discord, in-game, or on the forums. You must be mature and able to handle any criticism directed your way.

    Applications of any class will be considered, as we care more about the player quality, finding a fit for the team setup comes naturally.

  • Player vs Player

    » Members joining, receive the rank of Spartans and join the fray, in the Worlds bigest PvP challenge grounds.

    ================================================================

  • Casual play

    The Guild was created to provide an equal opportunity for both old and new players to enjoy content in a friendly environment.

    The Brotherhood of Steel was started many years ago by a friendly Druid, that chose not to walk the hardcore path but show the world anyone can achieve anything with patience, dedication and discipline. By giving the chance to be among friendly intelligent people that valued team-play, and fun we progressed together through many encounters and in game challenges.

    The guild promotes casual play and friendly honorable behavior. But we're not shy to delve down into progressive raiding or RBG. Our emphasis si in being communicative and being cool and helpful. Casual players are not expected to raid or pvp but can participate if they show interest and dedication.

  • Our guild was designed to accommodate all types of game-play. If you ever want to give us a go, apply to our website or contact us on Discord or in game.

    Know we expect you to provide some basic information upon joining, such as your favorite desert or drink / coffee and your Country of residence, for our ingame guild notes. We like to keep things nice, cool and tidy.

    That said, Thanks for stopping by.

Heres a bit more history, if you're interested
=================================================================

Battle for Azeroth » G4 - Destiny: The team didn't start as try hards, but we looked for inteligent people instead, that could adapt quick and would loved to clear all the current tier content slow and steady.

Being on a low pop realm, We were less than 20, and so in 8.2.x after a co-op with Deceived, one of the few active raid teams on the realm, we reached Ashvane Mythic ... soon after, half our DPS core got poached by our so called allies, regardless our agreement to not jepartise each others raid cores. We counted our losses and moved on. As an aftermath none of the guilds managed to clear more than 5 mythic bosses that season.

The rest that stayed became Mandalorians, doing mythic raiding ops with any renegates from other realms or guilds, brothers bound by one goal, Mythic raid tier progression. On the way we met nice new folk but it took us til mid tier to start properly. We cleared 7/12M and nearly took down Carapace of N'zoth until stopping to take a break and prepare for Shadowlands.

Battle for Azeroth » G5 - The Yolo raid gang, in tradition of the Training grounds where anyone interested to casually clear content, with no major expectation except focusing on teamwork, improvement and kicking arse, in a fun casual chill environment. This group disbanded fast, as they were to lazy to put any effort.

After G5 failure, The Mandalorians opened the Jedi academy, and allowed newcomers to catch up, raiding progressively from normal, ending up farming Ahead of curve raids by the end of each tier, while being mentors to a new generation of raiders.

Legion - G1: Semi hardcore, currently Retired, reached Cutting Edge in Legion's first Tier.

Legion - G2: Most of this group retired after completing all of Legion's raids Ahead of the Curve. The last of them have been taken by <Betrayal> and were scattered on the realm in different guilds, some returned, while others never played this game ever again.

Legion - G3: Evolved into its own progressive raiding guild: <Mayhem>, they're an amazing solid group, look them up if you want to clear all Cutting Edge raid content while it's still within reach. Since then they realm transfered, if anyone seeks them , you can find them on Stormscale.
