Who are we?
Founded in February 2006 on the Greymane realm, and subsequently migrated to Dreadmaul for WOTLK in 2008, Arashi takes pride in consistently being one of the premier GMT +8 raiding guilds in WOTLK and Cataclysm.
With the advent of WOD and a good break from MOP, we plan to tackle the savage landscape of Draenor with the same verve and determination as we did in WOTLK and Cataclysm.
Guild Focus
As our guild foundation is based strongly on the dedication and loyalty of our members and leaders, and the bonds of friendship which we nurture over time, Arashi remains as a family guild.
Nonetheless, we also plan to focus on progression raiding, which basically means we raid to experience and keep pace with the content when it is still relatively fresh. Come BRF, we intend to focus primarily on 20-man mythic raid progression.
We do not plan to be a hardcore guild. Most of our members are students and working professionals, and we believe that playing this game shouldn't become a second job. Raiding should be a passion and a hobby, as well as a form of relaxation and something we should enjoy doing.
Raiding Times
We raid at the +8GMT timezone.
All our raids begin at 8.30pm +8GMT. (or 11.30pm Server time)
We have 2 main raid nights, with 1 backup raid night.
Main raiding nights are used primarily for farm and progression content.
Backup raiding night can be used to continue progression content if necessary. Otherwise it will be free and easy.
Off nights will never be used for official raids. Members can do whatever they want, including going out in RL to get some much needed social lives. =p
Our schedule is as follows:
Main Raid Nights: Wednesday and Thursday
Backup Raid Night: Monday
Off Nights: Tuesday and Weekend
Recruitment Needs

1 x Warlock
1x Rogue
+ exceptional DPS or Healer of any class*
*We are looking to recruit a couple more exceptional DPS and healers who have the passion, skill and gear to push for mythic progression with us.
