“The Love Boat” Guild

<The Love Boat> is an up-and-coming guild on Kul Tiras, formed with the intention of raiding progressively throughout Mists of Pandaria and beyond. We formed at the end of Cataclysm, pulling members from the Illidan and Kel'Thuzad servers. By the time MoP had released we had done 6/8 HC DS, and have multiple Saviors of Azeroth. Currently we boast some of the best geared raiders on the server, and are only 1-3 players away from having a full, diverse, and thoroughly talented raid team.

Enough about us, let's talk about what we need to see in applicants:

-Commitment to showing up for raids on time(10 minutes before raid) with all the consumables you might need. This is expected of all members, although we will most likely provide flasks and food buffs; redundancy is no bad thing in this area.

-Skill in playing your selected role: I am not talking about the DPS or TPS or HPS you pull-it's expected that you are maximizing your character already-but how well you interact with mechanics, how well you handle reduced DPS roles(for example, crowd controlling adds constantly, kiting MOBs, etc.) and your willingness to learn from a wipe rather than get frustrated.

-Patience. We know that raiding can be utterly maddening at times, and getting frustrated, pissed or downright ragetastic is actually totally fine. Just don't make it anyone else's problem. No matter your actual attitude we expect your best attempt everytime. Heroic Ragnaros took 500 attempts, don't forget.

And that's all! We like to raid together, have fun, and progress. We are normally pretty laidback, but during raids a certain no-nonsense attitude is expected. No one likes wiping because one person was not paying enough attention, or goofing off, or simply had decided we were already going to wipe and "clocked out" mentally.
