<The Woke>
About us
We are a group of dedicated raiders aiming to begin our progression through mythic raiding. We are quite chill and relaxed while still maintaining focus on progress. Killing bosses and getting gear is fun and that is our goal. We are always looking for more players interested in raiding. If you are a new raider or an experienced veteran, as long as you are willing to learn and improve, you will be a good fit. We are always willing to take new players who show promise and help them draw out their full potential. Loot is handled by a council, and we use Discord for voice communication.
Required Addons:
RCLootCouncil (what we use to distribute loot)
Exorsus Raid Tools (used for note sharing for organization purposes)
DBM/BigWigs (this should be common sense)
Values
Attendance
You must show up for as close to 100% (no less than 90%) of raids as possible. If someone does not show up, the whole team suffers. You must notify an officer 24 hours in advance of an absence unless you have an emergency.
Cooperation
We are a team first and foremost. You must be willing to work with your teammates and help each other progress. Drama will not be tolerated, if you cannot work out your issues with each other, bring them to an officer. Trash talk and spreading guild drama in guild chat or discord is grounds for immediate removal from the guild.
Individual Improvement
A strong raid group is made up of strong individuals. You must be dedicated to understanding and researching your own class, receiving criticism when necessary, and seeking help where you need it.
Raid Preparation
Every raider is expected to be prepared and on time for raids. Your gear should always be enchanted and gemmed before raid begins and you should stay stocked on food, flasks, and tomes for use in raid. Although we provide these to raiders, this should be handled outside of raid time, minimizing delays.
Attitude
A positive attitude is a must for our team. Pessimism is not welcome in the raid. If you cannot maintain a good attitude, mute yourself and do not drag others down.
Policy Overview
In order to maintain a healthy, fair, and dedicated raid environment, all progression raiders will:
Commit to progressing as a guild as far as possible.
Be on time, ready to pull at 8 with gear gemmed and
enchanted.
Notify an officer 24 hours in advance if they cannot
attend.
Be committed to minimizing drama amongst raiders and working
out issues calmly like adults.
Maintain at least one character at current content level
throughout the week.
Speak English well enough for clear communication.
Have a working headset and microphone.
