“Suboptimal” Guild

UPDATE (valid as of 01/Feb/2021 onwards):
As of now, we have stopped raiding mythic because we do not have a 20 person roster (that can perform). At the moment we are recruiting all players interested in progressing mythic, yet we are currently focusing on PvP/M+ while maintaining heroic clears weekly, until we get a new roster reworked. ETA for raiding is unknown, but the priorities listed above show what classes we would like to have to continue.

<Suboptimal> is a semi-hardcore raiding guild formed in Shadowlands with the aim to get Cutting Edge every tier. Our core is a group of friends who have player together throughout several expansions and games.

As we're starting up as a guild this tier we're taking our time to strenghten our core roster to achieve our goals of getting Cutting Edge in this and future tiers.

All applicants will be considered. We are always looking for new players to strenghten our roster.

What we can offer you:

A laid back raiding environment with committed raiders and leadership striving to get Cutting Edge while having fun.

We take raid preparation seriously. Prior to new raid, research will be done. All the information will be posted on our Discord channel and we ask everyone to go through it to make sure we go into a new raid tier prepared.


What we expect of you:

Willingness to improve - we are looking for people that look to improve and get the best out of their performance and character.

Class knowledge – know your class well and be able to get the best out of it at all times.

Character – always have your character up-to date with the best gear, enchants, gems, runes available.

Raid knowledge – we expect people to come in the raid with a good understanding of the boss fights we have on farm as well as the bosses we are progressing. This ensures efficient use of our time.

Communication – while raiding we communicate through Discord. We expect you to be on Discord during the raid (with preferably a working microphone). During raid time we strive to keep the communication as clear as possible.

Attendance – signing up for raids is done through Discord. Make sure you sign up for raids in time, whether you're present or absent.

Attitude – Be respectful towards your guildies and able to accept criticism without taking it personally or causing drama.


Trial period – dependant on your performance. During the trial period we will evaluate your performance and determine if you are a right fit for us or not, and keep you up to speed.
