“Insomnía” Guild

Hello! We are Insomnía from area 52. We've had an interesting run this expansion with people who keep flaking out. We're looking to replace these spots with experienced and efficient raiders.

Our raid times are tuesday and thursday 11:30-2:30am EST.

Where we've been in mists:
We managed to fill our group for the first time about 8 weeks before 5.2. In about 6 weeks with only the 6 hours of raiding per week we managed to go from 5/16 normal with a ton of pugs to 4/16 heroic. We did at one point break the top 30 on the server. Unfortunately half of our core stopped playing. Currently with terrible pugs we've managed to get the first 8 bosses down in tot which is by no means an acceptable pace.

What kind of raiders are we looking for?
Our group is comprised of all raiders with years of experience and we expect the same from our recruits. We currently only raid 6 hours a week. That being said all recruits are expected to do all the research necessary to keep stops during raid times to a minimum (ae watching videos being gemmed/chanted and have flasks and pots prior to raid time). Unfortunately with our tight raid times we do not have time for raiders who are not geared or experienced enough for fast progression. All recruits who become raiders must give at least 4 days notice if they are going to miss a raid night, this is done so by in game mail. I don't need to know why you picked your race or why you picked your professions, good people are good and those small buffs are not game changing. We do not carry and are not going to sugarcoat if you don't have the skills, it's nothing personal we just don't raid enough to sit there and give people 3 or 4 chances to show they do know what they're doing.

What core positions are available?
1 Tank: guardian druid or blood dk
1 Healer: druid, shaman, monk.
1 Dps: mage, pro boomkin, hunter, warlock

What it's like raiding with us:
Our group has a fun light environment. We are a close knit group and are always welcoming more into our somewhat dysfunctional family. We have a good laugh and burn on each other for a good laugh. We joke quite a bit but we also tolerate zero drama and treat everyone in group with the utmost respect. Just so long as everyone is doing their jobs we all have a good time. As I've stated before we only raid 6 hours a week so we do move at a fast pace. Any comments about the performance of another raider should only be taken up with the raid leader. We allow horseplay until it slows down the raid. We have fun but at the same time we are there to down bosses. Vent is a requirement and nonnegotiable.
